Who We Are
Founder, Executive Director
Elizabeth Land
Granddaughter of Patricia Jane, our Founder and Executive Director finds her life’s work, beyond being a mother, in helping others. She’s passionate about doing justice, specifically through healing the narratives of violence in our society. She makes no peace with oppression, but instead aims to create peace by confronting oppression and speaking truth into systems of injustice, and into ourselves. Pouring into ourselves and into our world nurtures more sustainable futures for individuals, communities, and creates a lasting legacy of health for those to come.
She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies with a minor in Psychology from Millsaps College (2013) and a Masters of Theological Studies with a Concentration in Spirituality and Social Activism from Vanderbilt Divinity School (2020). She is in formation as a Benedictine Oblate at a nearby monastery and when not managing business, finances, or fostering growth within The PJR Collective, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking with her son, and reading. Her passion for learning and personal growth drives her to cultivate new insights and share them with the world. She feels incredibly privileged, honored, and humbled to bear witness to the work that The PJR and each of its members are fostering in themselves, the impact that has on their world—and on ours.
